The Visual Arts Committee presents the “Body of Art” Exhibit 2017.

The show features  figurative and portrait works in 2 dimensional mediums.
Pick up: Friday, April 28th from 12- 4 pm and Saturday, April 29th from 10- 12 pm.

“Waterscapes”, a marine pop-up show.

Show Dates: April 8th , 1- 7 pm and 9th, 11- 2 pm, 2017
Reception: Saturday, April 8, 2017, 5:30-7:00 PM
Jazz Brunch: Sunday, April 9, 2017, 11-1 pm.
Receiving Dates: Saturday, April 8, 2017,  9-11 AM
Location:  Milford Yacht Club, 131 Trumbull Avenue, Milford, CT
As this is a two-day exhibit, all artwork must be taken home on Sunday, April 9th,  between 1-5 pm.

Milford Arts Council and Milford Yacht Club will present “Waterscapes”: a Marine themed “Pop Up” exhibit at Milford Yacht Club, 131 Trumbull Avenue, Milford, CT. Artists are invited to submit work with a maritime/marine theme that includes ships, sailing, beach, coastal wildlife or the sea itself.   Reception will take place from Saturday, April 8th, 5:30-7:00 PM.  Awards will be announced at 6:00PM.  On Sunday, from 11- 1 pm there will be a jazz brunch.  The public is invited, but reservations are required for the brunch.  To make a reservation, call the Milford Yacht Club at 203-783-0060.

Awards: First/$150, Second/$100, Third/$50. Winners will be displayed at the MAC Center for the Arts until May 31st.

Receiving: 1-2 pieces per artist.  $25 for one piece, $35 for 2 pieces. $5 off total entry fees for MAC members.  Anyone may join MAC at registration, or download a form off our website; membership is $35.. 

Artist Eligibility:
1-2 Pieces per artist accepted.
No Reproductions will be accepted.
Only recent work accepted.
Only original pieces will be accepted.

ALL WORK MUST BE FRAMED AND WIRED OR IT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Three dimensional work will not be accepted for this show.
Items must not exceed 36” x 24” in measurement or 25lbs in weight.
This is a juried show.
Milford Arts Council reserves the right to decline any entries.
Work may be for sale, 30% commission on sales goes to MAC.

Milford Photo Expo 2017

Show Dates: May 11th-June 22nd, 2017

Viewing Dates: Tues/Thurs 10AM-4PM, Wed/Fri, 12PM-4 PM

Reception: Thursday, May 11th, 5:30-7:00 PM

Receiving:  Friday, April 28th from 12PM-4PM & Saturday, April 29th from 10AM-12PM

Artist Entry Fee:  $10 per entry. 1-3 pieces per artist accepted

Art Pick Up: Friday, June 23rd from 12PM-4PM, or Saturday, June 24th from 10AM-12PM

Theme: The Milford Arts Council and Milford Photo are pleased to announce Milford Photo Expo 2017. Photographers of all levels are invited to submit work to this open themed show. All photographic mediums, styles and processes are welcome. Milford Photo will offer 10% off framing for pieces being submitted in the show. Prizes: $1000 in Milford Photo gift certificates and cash prizes to be awarded in several categories

Artist Eligibility:

Only original, recent work will be accepted.

All work must be properly framed and wired for hanging or will not be received.

Items must not to be smaller than 8” x 10” or exceed 16” x 20” framed/outside dimension.
