Meet the Cast

Alicia James (Henrietta Leavitt) is thrilled to return to the MAC stage. A native of Washington state, Alicia earned a BA in theater from Central Washington University before continuing her studies at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and the University of Arizona. She has acted regionally at theaters across Long Island and Connecticut. Eastbound audiences may remember her as Blanche in A Streetcar Named Desire. Other favorite roles include Maggie in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Ann in All My Sons, Elvira in Blithe Spirit, Christine in The Bad Seed, and Penelope in See How They Run. She'd like to thank Nancy for this opportunity and her husband for his unfailing love and support.

Emily Yates (Margaret) is excited to be working with Eastbound Theatre again after playing Puck in last summer’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Emily most recently understudied for Alison and Medium Alison in Fairfield Center Stage’s Fun Home. Other favorite roles include Charlotte in Pride and Prejudice, Carla/Caroline in Go Back for Murder, the chorus The Trojan Women, Lysander in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Catherine in The Memory of Water. 

Brodey Ott (Peter Shaw) Eastbound audiences might remember Brodey as Eddie McCuen in The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940, or Ryan in One Slight Hitch. A Stratford resident, Brodey has worked with multiple theatres across CT, including Fairfield Center Stage, Valley Shakespeare Fest, and Downtown Cabaret just to name a few. Most recently, Brodey appeared in Fairfield's A Christmas Carol Experience (Fred / Young Scrooge), for which he received a BroadwayWorld CT nomination for Best Supporting Performer in a Play. Favorites: The Book of Will (Isaac Jaggard), The Tempest (Alonso), Spamalot (Sir Galahad / Black Knight), and Rent. Special thanks to the wonderfully talented cast and creative team.

Molly McCullough (Williamina Fleming) Molly is excited to return to the Eastbound Theater in this inspiring production after performing in last year’s Musical Comedy Murders of 1940 and A Midsummer’s Night Dream. Other prior credits include: Mae West in What's Your Problem at the John Houseman Theater. Joanne in Company and Mrs. Paroo in The Music Man with The Strawhat Players. At Emerson Stage, she played Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing and Miss Cratchit in Gypsy!i at the Majestic Theatre, Boston. She studied Theatre and Musical Theater at Emerson College, Boston. She enjoyed performing sketch comedy with the Splinter Group and practiced improv comedy coursework at the Upright Citizens Brigade Training Center in NYC.  She wants to thank her husband Jeremy for all his love and support.

Rachel Dalton (Annie Cannon) is excited to be back at Eastbound Theater performing in this wonderful show. Rachel most recently was seen at the Ridgefield Theater Barn as part of the One Acts last season in the role of Sandy in Incorrigible. Over the years, she has appeared in a variety of roles on Connecticut and New York stages. Highlights include Janet in Yankee Tavern (Westport Community Theatre), Rosalind in Moon Over Buffalo (Center Stage), Trisha in Five Women Wearing the Same Dress (Ridgefield Theater Barn), Miranda in Relative Values (Wilton Playshop), Lenny in Crimes of the Heart (Eastbound Theatre), Maggie in Lend Me A Tenor (Westport Community Theatre) and Claire in Proof (Town Players of Newtown). Rachel studied acting technique at HB Studios, and has also trained at T. Schreiber Studio and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Thank you to Nancy and the cast and crew for welcoming me to the show, to the audience for your support, and especially to Mark and my boys for allowing mom do what she loves!
