Inspire Your Heart With Art Day (JANUARY 31ST) was created as a way to celebrate all forms of art and the effect it has on your heart. As we head into the favorite month for the #heartofthearts, we want to celebrate this day with power! How about celebrating with us by taking this week to be intentional about exploring the many genres of art and reflecting on how the arts inspire, encourage, and touch your life.
HOW? Here are a few suggestions:
CELEBRATE YOUR INNER ARTIST Tap into your creative skills no matter what your skill level. Paint, draw, dance, sing…. Anything! Inspire others to do the same. Let go of your inhibitions, listen to the integration of your heart, mind, body, and soul then set it free! Be fearless! No judgement. There are no right answers in the arts. Simply express yourself!
CELEBRATE YOUR ARTIST FRIENDS Share your gratitude for the artists you know by posting a pic or video sample of their art, sending them a special note of appreciation, or by simply telling them what their art means to you. Artists can include visual and performing artists - painters, dancers, actors, writers, photographers.
CELEBRATE ARTISTIC VENUES Visit a museum, a pop up exhibit, a writer’s group… get tickets to a play, a dance performance, a symphony. It doesn’t have to be Broadway or Lincoln Center. High school and community performances are often amazing! There are free classes, meet ups, and workshops everywhere. CELEBRATE ART IN NATURE It’s so easy to become more aware of the beauty and art all around you. Simply open your eyes to the wonder that is everywhere. We 100% believe in #creativityeverywhere. Spend your week with eyes wide open, full of awe, and capture it with a click. Life will be better immediately when you take time, breathe, remain present and grateful. You will be amazed by what you see!
