Wine & Spirits Festival A Splashing Success

The Milford Arts Council Board of Directors spread a lot of cheer last night from the minute they opened the doors of the MAC to the community at 6pm. Their First Annual Wine and Spirits Festival Benefit on March 5, 2020 was a splashing success!

Patrons enjoyed a night full of robust wine offerings from wine and spirits sponsor, Wines and More, delicious food provided by Bin100, Tavern On Point, Liberty Rock, The Cannoli Pie Company, and Scratch Baking, with lively entertainment provided by DynaMojo. The tickets also included a commemorative wine glass and door prizes.

Rick Raucci, Board member and one of the event organizers stated, “We are so grateful for our sponsors, our raffle donors, and for an incredibly supportive community at large. We place a lot of value on our community connections. As the hub of the arts for the city of Milford and beyond, the MAC provides affordable access to music, art, theatre, dance, classes, workshops, special events, and more all year round. We wanted to offer this benefit to the community as a way to both celebrate and bring awareness to all that the MAC has to offer. It’s was a great way to shine light on the value and impact of the arts.”

In partnership with the MAC, raffles were generously donated by Milford residents and organizations. They included Red Sox tickets, A Sunset Harbor Sail, A Spa package, A Milford Experience package, an original painting by John Paul O’Grodnick, and more. The raffle baskets were bursting with exciting experiences, products, and fun provided by:

Lorie Lewis, Marketing Director states, “We are so grateful for our Board and for the support that we received from the community. This helps us to continue to meet our mission to share opportunities and experiences that enrich, enlighten, and entertain. The arts improve our quality of life, our economy, and the beauty of the city by driving people and energy to us. The money raised from this event allows us to continue our impact in the community. ”

Based on the success of the evening, the MAC and the Board hope to make this event an annual offering.
