Athol Fugard is an internationally acclaimed South African playwright whose best-known work deals with the political and social upheaval of the apartheid system in South Africa.
(Director) is excited to be back with EBT after last year’s production slinging cosmos and ice-dancing in Deadman’s Cell Phone. Noelle has directed productions in NYC, NJ and the UK. Favorite credits include: The Book of Will (Hudson Shakespeare Co.), You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown! (HACPAC), The Spanish Tragedy (Regional tour, HSC), Timon of Athens (Exeter Northcott Theatre) and such Shakespeare plays as Coriolanus, Pericles and Macbeth. Thanks to Jon for his continued support, EBT, the MAC and Nancy A. Herman for the opportunity to bring this play to life. Also thanks to the cast and producers for your support and friendship. Noelle would like to dedicate the run of this show to the memory of Jennifer Andreas, a dedicated, fierce and witty teacher lost too soon.
(Mr. M) is delighted to be participating in this theatrical production. Performing is an exciting and wonderful experience for him. He would like to thank Eastbound Theatre and the MAC for the opportunity. Previous productions include Fences, Prelude to a Kiss, Wait Until Dark and Four Weddings and an Elvis. Herman is a lifelong resident of Bridgeport, CT and has worked for the last 21 years in the retirement services industry. In his spare time he likes to cook, travel and attend live sporting events.
(Thami Mbikwana) is thrilled to return to Eastbound Theatre where his recent credits include Stopping Here, Words from the Front and The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940. Other credits include Who Didn’t Dunnit in Orange Players’ Acting Up! 2024, Fences with Westport Community Theatre and Boeing Boeing with Center Stage Theatre in Shelton. Matt works at the Mark Twain House & Museum in Hartford as a Living History Actor, portraying George Griffin and is a Company Actor with Dinner Detective’s New Haven location. He is grateful to Noelle for the opportunity to help bring this powerful and thought-provoking story to life. Matt wishes Herman, Sabrina, Noelle, David and Mike a successful run. He thanks his dad for always supporting his dreams.
(Isabel Dyson) is excited to be performing in her first Eastbound Theatre Production. Some of her prior shows include The Merry Wives of Windsor, Antigone, The Addams Family, Legally Blonde, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and Steel Magnolias. Sabrina would like to thank friends, both new and old, her family and Nick for encouraging her to get back on the stage.
