Do you love the classical guitar?

Do you play?

Do you just enjoy listening?

The New England Guitar Society (NEGS), part of the Milford Arts Council,  was established to create a nurturing environment for classical guitarists to meet, share ideas, perform, compose, teach and grow as musicians and enthusiasts. Our goal is to increase the public interest in classical guitar, for new audiences and players. The Society invites guest artists to perform public concerts and hold master classes at the acoustically rich chamber concert hall of the Milford Arts Council and online.

Classical Guitar Sessions meet on the second Sunday of the month at 2 PM at the Firehouse Gallery – see the map below.

We strive for a friendly and casual environment where anyone who plays the classical guitar at any level is welcome. Play, try excerpts of your work, or just join as an enthusiast. Participate in a journey with the gentle sound of classical guitar.
