Unprecedented
The Crown Gallery at Metro Art Studios is proud to present Unprecedented, a national juried exhibit that asks artists to respond to moments that break the pattern—events, ideas, or visions that feel singular, disruptive, or impossible to ignore. The exhibition invites work that captures transformation, rupture, and the unknown, whether personal or collective. Through diverse media and perspectives, Unprecedented explores what emerges when history swerves, rules dissolve, and something entirely new takes shape.
The exhibit runs from May 31 to July 18, 2026.
Gallery hours: Thursday through Saturday, 12 to 4 PM and by appointment.
Artist Talk: Saturday, June 20, 1 PM

Nature, Reconfigured: Featured Artist Kathleen Telesco
Metro Art Studios is delighted to have an exhibit of the work of Kathleen Telesco as Featured Artist, starting May 31. Having spent most of her life creating realistic still lives and portraits, Kathleen felt a pull toward expressionist and semi-abstract painting in the last five years. Kathleen mainly works with acrylic paint and charcoal, using brushes and her hands to build layers. She draws inspiration mainly from nature, ancestry, and storylines from her dreams. Outside of painting and writing music, she volunteers as a wildlife rehabber and is an avid birder.
The exhibit runs from May 31 to July 18, 2026.
Gallery hours: Thursday through Saturday, 12 to 4 PM and by appointment.
