Art Exhibit – Donna Barent

     Donna first started studying painting in acrylics, then watercolors, and she is inspired by the beauty of New England’s changing seasons with its sunrises, sunsets, bodies of water, and beaches. The birds, the flowers and the nature that surrounds us are an invitation to her canvas; sunrises and sunsets have majestic skies with myriads of colors and begs to be captured on canvas.

     In addition to mentorship and exhibition with the Milford Art Council and the Hamden Art League, Donna recently won the Lorraine Siegel Memorial Award at Hagaman Memorial Library’s 2025 Fall/Winter Exhibition for her “Lake Como” in mixed media, watercolor and acrylic. Her show at Hagaman Memorial Library will be her first solo exhibition. https://donnabarentartstudio.com/
