Wynona Wang Classical Piano Concert

Wynona Wang is a Chinese Classical Pianist whose artistry has captivated audiences worldwide. A Juilliard-trained musician and winner of top international prizes—including the 2024 Gina Bachauer International Artists Competition, the Concert Artists Guild International Competition, and the Wideman International Piano Competition—she brings brilliance, depth, and energy to every performance. Her achievements also include the Juilliard School’s Rubinstein Prize, the Charlotte White Career Grant, and recognition as a Legacy Pianist of the Joaquín Achucarro Foundation.

Since her debut, Wynona has performed on leading stages across the globe, appearing with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Utah Symphony, Pasadena Symphony, Hilton Head Symphony, and many others. She has graced venues such as the Sydney Opera House, Lincoln Center’s David Geffen Hall, Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, and The Conrad in La Jolla, as well as festivals including Music@Menlo, La Jolla SummerFest, and the Mostly Mozart Festival. In April 2024, Decca (Australia) released a two-CD album of her live performances, showcasing her expressive power and technical brilliance.

Wynona Wang – Pianist. A captivating performer from Beijing, Wynona Wang has earned international recognition with top prizes at the Gina Bachauer, Concert Artists Guild, and Wideman Competitions, along with honors from the Juilliard School and the Joaquín Achucarro Foundation. Her artistry was recently captured on a two-CD live album released on Decca (Australia).

Educator. Trained at Southern Methodist University and The Juilliard School, Wynona has studied with eminent pianists including Alessio Bax and Robert McDonald. She is committed to sharing her craft with the next generation, carrying forward a legacy of mentorship and excellence in piano performance.

Performer. Wynona has appeared as soloist with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Utah Symphony, Pasadena Symphony, Hilton Head Symphony, and many more, performing in major venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Sydney Opera House, and The Conrad in La Jolla. Her festival and chamber appearances include Music@Menlo, La Jolla SummerFest, the Mostly Mozart Festival, and collaborations with artists such as Garrick Ohlsson, Joyce Yang, and Inon Barnatan.

Recording. A Young Steinway Artist, Wynona’s live performances are celebrated for their expressive power and technical brilliance. Her recent Decca release showcases her wide-ranging repertoire and artistry, reflecting a career that bridges competition triumphs with vivid concert experiences around the world.
