This year’s tree lighting celebration took place on December 7th at Lisman Landing next to Milford Harbor.  

Volunteers built a 25+’ tree form from genuine, used lobster traps, then wrapped in sparkly white lights and overlaid with boat line knotted with hand-painted and decorated buoys that the community have submitted. The day’s events began with an artisan winter market and food trucks.  Our emcee for the event was Brian Smith and continued with entertainment from Emily Mager.   Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived to everyone’s cheers.  Our mayor, Richard Smith, led the countdown to light up the tree for the first time this year.
