Plays In Development

Nurturing Creativity: Eastbound Theatre's Stage Readings for Playwrights in Progress

Discover the nurturing embrace of creativity as the Eastbound Theatre passionately supports playwrights in the development of their works through staged readings. This unique initiative offers a platform for playwrights to present their evolving pieces in front of an engaged audience, providing invaluable insights and fostering a collaborative atmosphere.

Plays in Development stands distinct from the three full productions presented by EBT. Considered an adjunct to the traditional lineup, this initiative serves as a vibrant avenue to promote new and experimental works.

Each Plays in Development staged reading is followed by a brief talk-back designed to provide constructive feedback to the playwright.
