Riva: A Life in Art – Exhibit
An art exhibit celebrating the life and works of former Milford resident Riva Silverfarb.

A community event like no other, PorchFest is a National movement with Milford’s participation added in 2018 as a collaboration between the Milford Arts Council and the City’s Economic & Community Development Department. During the Pandemic, the committee, composed of neighborhood captains and a committed core of volunteers, took over as the driving force, growing to over 100 porches and 125 bands across 6 distinct neighborhoods across Milford. This yearly event takes place in late September or early October, based on the tides as many of the neighborhood porches and decks line our 17 miles of beaches.
