Vanisha Gould is a transfixing jazz vocalist, storyteller, and songwriter whose artistry bridges timeless tradition and modern soul. Originally from Simi Valley, California, and now based in New York City, she draws inspiration from legends like Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, and Joni Mitchell—yet her sound is unmistakably her own. Since moving to New York in 2015, Vanisha has become known for her sensual tone, emotional honesty, and the way she transforms each performance into a deeply intimate experience.

On this special day, Vanisha will perform two concerts—an afternoon matinee at 3:00pm and an evening show at 7:30pm—bringing her powerhouse voice and electrifying ensemble to the MAC stage.

A Lincoln Center Emerging Artist, Vanisha has graced stages such as Dizzy’s Club and collaborated on acclaimed projects including In Her Words with Lucy Yeghiazaryan, Day Dream with Eden Bareket, and New York Moment with the JC Hopkins Biggish Band.
